As someone who doesn’t like a lot of the Disney remakes and flat out HATED The Lion King remake and has since sworn off the Disney remakes, I’m genuinely really excited for Mulan. It actually looks really interesting

i personally love the movie and respect that they wanted it to be different than the animated version...people who are hating on this movie are letting nostaligia get in the way from their judgement... this is a 9/10 to me

Your review was much more easygoing than Stuckmann or Jahns, they really go hard on this film and it is understandable, IMO Disney should stop making these live action adaptations.

How can you expect every movie to be the outcome of the original? But at the end this movie has everything to do to make you awestruck. I just love it as it is more realistic then the original.👍

Love the realism but a lot of people are gonna miss the music for sure.

I really enjoyed it. Even had me crying at the end.
It's a big budget movie expected to make big box office numbers just to break even, let alone make money.
So I can understand the price tag.
It's a blockbuster family film and $30 is a deal for the average family of 4 who could have dropped an easy $50 on tickets and snacks in a theater...and now you have it to watch over and over with your own snacks.

You forgot to mention the whole deal with the fact that the movie was filmed in areas in China with CONCENTRATION CAMPS.

i feel like you are going to be BIG on youtube as a film critic. you are just so CONSISTENT and fast and these reviews are short and snappy. i was just waiting for you to upload this one on mulan! from the trailer, it seems like they have incorporated a lot of chinese cinematography and martial arts scenes...which is AWESOME! hollywood fight scenes normally look so corny and exaggerated. niki caro did great on this.

Just finished it....it was good. If folks are gonna cry over the songs, watch the original animated movie. Im a super fan of the original. This is a great movie. Doesnt feel like its pandering to women or anything. It was a good solid film. By the way, it was a beautiful looking movie! Deserved a theatrical release
