Gave up social media (including YouTube) for the Lenten fast. For the first two weeks I felt like I was going crazy, but after those first two weeks, it felt like I came out of a haze. It was so much easier to tap into the natural bliss that comes from simply being alive and walking with the Lord.

Please pray for my online friend, Akshaj, he got cancer and...I'm not sure if he's still alive but I'd assume not, since he said, he's over. Please do whatever you can, he was Hindu. I'm not the best person at praying, nor am I baptized yet. Another person that I know passed from cancer was deaoo, again in separation from the holy church. It's their discord tag but it's still something. May they both have peace.

That contrast of the static image of carrying the icon of Christ, compared to how I carry my phone everywhere really hit me with how powerful and thought provoking it was. Don't know if that was the intention, but the result was beautiful.

traditional Catholic here and this resonates with me (i refuse to own a mobile phone and limit my internet usage) for me when these negative information from the media ect gets into my head i get out into nature to witness Gods creation in the wildlife ect and i find a beautiful place and pray.
