Should You Update to Windows 10 October 2020

Microsoft have started a gradual rollout of the latest version of Windows 10. Its a minor update called Windows 10 October 2020 (version 20H2). This is the tenth feature update from Microsoft, and hopefully a trouble free update, unlike Windows 10 2004 which was a major update that was plagued with problems. The jump from Windows 10 2004 to Windows 10 October 2020 is only small and has minor feature updates. I am running Windows 10 2004 on my main computer now and I am not having any issues. But I will hold off on updating to version 20H2 for a while to see if any major problems arise. At the end of the day, its your pc and your choice whether you want to update right away or wait, you will still receive security updates and patches on older versions until the end support.

I usually wait a while until the initial bugs are worked out of the latest upgrade. Today is November 22nd and my MSi Laptop is a pretty simple setup at this point. Not too many apps installed at this date. I'll probably go for the 20H2 update today or tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks Brian, I appreciate your channel and shares!

My Laptop just dies when I attempt to update to 2004, it just glitches out my screen for a second and then forces my computer to restart and only today did I figure out why this was happening.

Just updated 4 PC's and 2 laptops at home. Will update the work ones in the next few weeks. Not a problem with any of them so far.
Haven't had an update problem (except those caused by the users) at work or home since I upgraded from 7 at work and 8.1 at home.

11:20 I am on a 1903 at the moment - it was very crucial to me due to the new clipboard, and the new snipping tool. My sister's one is on 1803. I am thinking of updating as it is not detecting my earphones and adjusting the audio accordingly - that is, the audio levels are wayyy tooo high in the earphones. It worked earlier - i guess in the older version. So... yeah. any input to this?

Oh man, I wish I watched your video before updating... I just updated less than an hour ago.

What I can share for now is... I updated from 2004 so my update went pretty quick, the whole update took less than 10-minutes.

BTW... what theme are you using for your background?... I really like it!

I held off my Mum's one for a month, but it's time to update today. On my one, as I'm on the Dev channel, I update every week or two.
