Hey y'all. Today's video is YOGA FOR GRIEF OR LOSS. Many of us have experienced some type of loss in our lives. We will all experience loss at some point and we will all leave this earth at some point. Over the past couple of years, there has been an exponential amount of loss all over the world, not to mention those who we have lost pandemic aside. It can be extremely challenging to try to go on during these types of events, and life never stops, no matter how much we are grieving. We seldom get a chance just to take a breath because we still have to be there for ourselves and for those around us. I was hoping that this video would give many people at least a small amount of time to FEEL and GRIEVE. I myself have dealt with the loss of people close to me, so I can very much identify with those feelings and sometimes you don't know how to feel and that's okay. If you have lost someone or something close to you, I want to give you my condolences and I am wishing brighter days for your future. Sending you peace and love, and thank you for your support.

I have been a caregiver for my 102 year-old grandmother for a little less than a year and a half. She passed peacefully at home on Saturday, and it's been nonstop since then. I helped my aunt (with whom she lived) plan her funeral, chose her outfit, I got volunteered to make a slideshow for the service, and I was a pallbearer for her at her service on Wednesday. I put the Yoga Every Damn Day challenge on hold since last Friday or so, and I wanted to jump back in today but felt like I hadn't really had time to honor my own grief. She meant the world to me, she was my person within my family. Always. So I decided to search for something, but I really wanted one of yours because you're my favorite. I was not disappointed. Thank you for making this video. I was finally able to cry. ❤

I lost my grandfather yesterday, a wave of sadness hit me while I was trying to work and I knew I just needed to step away and get on my mat. I searched for yoga for grief, and I’m so glad to have found a practice from you. This was exactly what I needed Nico, namaste 💚

Thank you. I have been using your videos for a couple years now and love all of them. I have been on a self-healing journey overcoming childhood sexual trauma, and all of your videos have helped me in so many ways. Today was my break from work, and I woke up taking things slowly and decided to do this video that I saved for later. I was grieving the loss of my childhood self, and I was able to speak to my inner child to release and let go. I was bawling so hard, and it was the most beautiful and snotty moments I've had. You are a blessing. ❤😊

Been crying so much since my dad passed on Christmas Eve, I didn't think I had anything left to release. I was definitely wrong. Thank you for holding space for us and offering this class. 💕

I lost my beloved kitty that we welcomed into my family when I was just a child. I’m beyond devastated because I didn’t get to say goodbye and tell her how much I love her. I actually haven’t had the chance to do this yet because I found out while I was at work and I’m not off yet but I plan to follow along the second I get home. Thank you for blessing us with this video. ❤ Much love and healing to everyone here. You’re not alone

Update: this helped me to release a lot of emotions I wasn't able to let myself feel when I was at work. This was a BEAUTIFUL practice and I'll be back for this again and again during my healing process. This was my first video I've come across of yours, but you have gained a new subscriber <3 shanti, namaste <3

I lost a dear friend this morning. Your wise words and warm presence, even if it’s virtually, meant the world to me. Bless you. ❤

The interesting thing about grief and loss is one could be experiencing these feelings surrounding folks who are still here in physical form. This practice found me as I am doing just that with a break up and all the residual feelings surrounding that. Sending love to all who may be experiencing grief and loss in other ways and sending so much gratitude to you Nico for this gentle and loving practice. ✨

Thank you again. I didn’t expect to have to need this so soon, again, as I just lost my oldest sister about a week ago. About 1 year and a half ago, I was looking for a yoga exercise that could help me through grieving my mom. I released, cried, and exhaled. I needed it then and need it now. 💚 I plan to make this my daily practice for as long as I need it.

Thank you for this. I've been holding onto so many emotions and I was able to release them today. We don't often take the time or have the time to feel what we need to. Lots of crying this practice but it was a good thing. I was definitely mean to come upon this video today.
