Non-avian dinosaurs were NOT "gigantic lizards." Many were quite small -- and none of them were lizards. They were all *archosaurs*, a clade that also includes birds and crocodilians. Lizards are squamates, reptiles with scale-covered integuments. We don't refer to mammals as reptiles, even though their ancestors, the protomammals, evolved from reptiles. Non-avian dinosaurs deserve the same courtesy. It makes for much less confusion.

I've been in Pamukkale 40 years ago but I was a kid and I don't remember much. Anyway, I wish I could afford some days off in places like these and the dinosaurs wouldn't bother me more than the heatwaves of a big southern city. After all, dinosaurs are alive and well right outside my window, masquerading as pigeons with their droppings on my laundry, but as a cat I am determined to advance the cause of mammals in ways that conservationists probably don't approve of. As for your centipede, it would be a welcome change to the cockroaches and spiders crawling on my face since my woman left me and went on holidays alone - but she won't get bored when she comes back...
