Intimacy with yourself is also important! Might sound weird but having that sense of closeness and connection with yourself will enrich your life more than intimacy with anyone else

That is what I want in any relationship. Too many in this world see sex as intimacy. They see intimacy as the feeling that comes after sex. I have never seen intimacy in such a shallow way. Thank you for your video.

The thing is one might desire it with all their heart, but people don't want to get deep, open up or share anything with him/her. It's painful when everyone (friends, relatives) want superficial relationships only, no one wants to listen or open up to be listened to

We can only be as intimate with another person at the same level we are intimate with ourselves. We can only truly care for someone, love someone, at the same level as we care for, or love, ourselves.

I agree, for people who don't know what it means; intimacy means showing your vunerability. That's why sex is often seen as intimacy because you are showing your naked self.

And the loss of this is what made me isolate myself further and further.
When this intimacy goes wrong, you rather be alone and not deal with people, no matter it cost you dearly.
