Hey guys. One thing that I always found helpful when I was struggling with panic attacks was to stop calling them panic attacks! I know it sounds silly but it actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it. What you’re going through is the fight or flight response, that’s it. If you’re telling yourself that you’re under attack, then of course you’re going to get nervous, that’s what the fight or flight response is for, for dealing with attacks and threats.

Instead, I used to think of them as an adrenaline rushes. A burst of energy that’s triggered because your subconscious mind is perceiving danger, even though there is none. I know it can sound silly but that wording has a huge effect on how you perceive your experience. After taking out the negative inference that the word attack brings, i changed my view of what I was experiencing. I told myself that people pay lots of money for this kind of rush. They jump of building, play extreme sports, chase tornados, whatever. The point is that once I took away a lot of the scariness of it, I actually learned to love that rush of juice and from that point on recovery came pretty quickly.

Panic attacks feeds on your fear. When you have no more fear, anxiety has no more fuel and simply vanishes.

I had panic attacks 4 years and this video saved my life. Now, I am a medical doctor and I used to have panic attacks during oral reporting and this video taught me how to deal with it.

I know what you mean, I used to get panic attacks all the time and then I realized I was getting them because I was scared of them. If there's no fear they occur less often and when it does happen it goes away quickly if you just accept it not fear it. Its weird how powerful our minds are. Glad your feeling better buddy

This is honestly by far the best exercise I've found online for this, and I've tried many. I was shocked by how well it worked. Not only does it end an episode of anxiety fast, it also changes your entire outlook towards the sensations. It makes you feel as though you're in charge of it when its usually the other way around, which subsequently reduces the changes of another episode . Many thanks to uploader

I want to say that if you want to deal with panic attacks you ll have to change several things in your daily life! (it sounds hard but it worked for me) First of all you have to start doing a balanced life! For example if u eating too much eat less, if u smoking or drinking too much avoid it or keep doing it but try to balance it! If u spend the most of your day doing nothing and keep thinking about panic attacks try to do little things that makes you happy like washing your car or taking your dog for a walk! I think our biggest mistake is that we keep living in missery and thinking we are ''sick'' or something like that! But thats wrong, we are normal people! My opinion on how to defeat that great enemy is not to fight it but forget just like that, just wake up one day and its gone just like how it came from nothing from nowhere!

This is the ONLY true way out because you're permanently removing the fear of the panic attack as you have it, eventually U won't fear it anymore because you'll already know you can just use this method

The first time i did this, i was absolutely terrified because i had gotten so used to suppressing it that my body had forgotten what a full on panic attack felt like. This is a much better way to get over a panic attack than trying to hide it and hope it goes away. This is so important, very helpful.

My chest hurts, yesterday I was in a funeral, I had again a panic attack. I was horrible, My heart was beating so fast! I was scared, and thought I woyuld die. It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one with this problem :)
