I have a real 1954 Strat. My grandfather gave it to me when I was 16 years old. He gave me that and a 1968 Rick bass. He bought both of them new. The bass was mint. The 54 Strat has worn nitro like this on the fretboard from him playing so much.

I guess this guitar will always be "mint" when it's resold. Also, all the wood and finish looks distressed and the plastic is spotless and bright and perfect. So realistic. Yeah, right.
