Creep and peep slowly using clutch control. Keep checking both directions as you’re hidden and there may be someone approaching
Stop quickly if anyone approaches and deal with it all safely
Always make use of reflections on the sides of cars to see if anyone may be approaching
Listen carefully to hear if there’s traffic approaching

The reason this works is because anyone driving down the main road will just see a slow moving bonnet gradually coming out from behind a row of cars, if going too fast to stop they should hoot, to stop your emerge. It makes people slow and even stop if forced to as they know you cannot see them because they cannot see the driver..

I learned to drive in the UK and creep and peep is something they don't teach over here in the US. I use it all the time.

I gave up on driving lessons a while ago because the instructor I had would basically tell me that I did something wrong, but not tell me what to do to fix it, then proceed to get irritated at me making the same mistakes again. If my instructor was as patient and understanding as you, I probably would have stuck to them for longer

This woman receives a lot of hate for her videos when she is a lot more strict but people need to understand that driving is extremely dangerous and you need to be strict. I would want a strict teacher making me safe then a negligent teacher.

Signaling with headlights can help some times but it's kinda annoying the van driver didn't help you turn safely whole he was blocking your view.

But they didn't use a horn the learner should've worn by doing the horn so upcoming car from other lane should be aware in my opinion tho 👍
