Thing is its Jesus who is the only intercessor, so why pray to passed on humans and not the Son of God.

Show me one point in the Bible where someone prays to a saint or someone who was close to God. No one prayed to Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, or the prophets of the Old Testament. There isn’t a biblical basis to pray to saints

Even though as Muslim I strongly disagree with Theosis but asking saints for intercession is pretty normal thing we do.
