I love God so much. Unfortunately I don’t do a great job of it but that’s another story but God is so amazing. He’s so good.

Again, the Scripture says, "we have one mediator between GOD and man, Christ JESUS."

James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

John 6:35

35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Deuteronomy 31:6

6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Proverbs 3:25-26
25 Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the LORD will be at your side
and will keep your foot from being snared.

Leviticus 18:21-23
21 “‘Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.
22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.
23 “‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.

John 10:7-16
7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]

So then what’s the point of praying to them at all if the prayers have to go through God first? Might as well just pray to God at that point

Protestants should have been there to tell Jesus he was wrong for talking to Moses and Elijah at the transfiguration. Because they were "dead".

When you get done working and finally die, rest assured that you will continue working for all eternity.

Ppl complaining about “why not just pray to God directly” and that’s perfectly right and just, but it’s the same thing as asking for a friend to pray for you. Where is the line drawn to receiving prayers from others?

“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, ”

The verse that says we will be partakers in God’s nature is 2 Peter 1:4

I have never heard this so beautifully explained. Thank you.

So God hears your prayers, then gives them to the saints, so the saints can tell God our prayers? Seems unnecessary

Thing is its Jesus who is the only intercessor, so why pray to passed on humans and not the Son of God.

Show me one point in the Bible where someone prays to a saint or someone who was close to God. No one prayed to Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, or the prophets of the Old Testament. There isn’t a biblical basis to pray to saints

Revelation tells us that the Saints in heaven offer up the prayers of the Saints on Earth.

Doctrine of the Communion of Saints right there.

Genuinely asking, can you give me a scripture where it says to pray to Saints

I’ll avoid necromancy. I pray to Jesus the living God just like The Bible says.

The problem is… something as important as this (if it were a truly authentic “tradition”) would be evident in the Scriptures or even implied; yet, we see no indication of it whatsoever.

You failed to specifically mention 1 verse for your audience to read for themselves.

Even though as Muslim I strongly disagree with Theosis but asking saints for intercession is pretty normal thing we do.
