Long Story Short:
Jews can pray in Mosque and Muslims can pray in Synagogue; As per Jewish and Islamic law.

Both stand against Idol worship and both follow doctrine of monotheism.

Cheers!

I'm a Jewish, male, baby boomer from Brooklyn. A couple of times when I was a kid I attended a Catholic Sunday service and did not like it. I still feel uncomfortable in Christian churches. I've never been to a mosque or even known anyone is was a Muslim yet I know enough about Islam to know I would be comfortable praying in a mosque.

As a Muslim, I would love to meet Jews and have a conversation with them. Fro what I know about their history, culture and religion, I have lots of respect for them.

Believing in one true God and worshiping him alone .

It's a hypothetical question. But set aside our political discourse, as a Muslim I personally have no problem with praying with Jews since we serve the same God, one God.

But with Christians... it's a bit complicated... the idol worship in our belief is not simply because the use of statue or painting, but the problem is more like how they view God, which is 3in1, not strictly 1. That's forbidden in islam since we believe God is one alone, has no of the sort, and God is certainly not a human, nor being reincarnated as a human, nor die as a human, etc. God cannot be seen with our naked eyes in this world, as he is beyond our reach, far too great for us to see.

But I still respect Christians of course. We just don't believe in the same thing but it's okay as long as we can remain respectful to each other as humans. I love my Christian friends too.

As a christian I find these discussions facinating! I’m very curious to understand how jewish and muslim people define idols. I have never been aware of idols in a christian church. Thanx for the great content!

it's good to see that Religious Jews know they can pray in Mosques and vice versa, there are more similarities between both religious muslims and religious Jews, hope that encourages tolerance and peace

As a Muslim, I have no problems praying with a Jewish lady as long as she is praying to the God of Ibrahim(A). We have the same prayer style, similar looking prayer mats. Heck we even face similar directions. But Christians don’t pray to God, they pray to Jesus, their prayer involves a cross, their hand motion refers to the Trinity, singing/dancing..etc. there is no way to pray alongside someone like that. That’s shirk. A major sin in Islam, and Judaism as far as I know.

6:55 He got the point. We pray in such different ways, managing the time and the space around us, that are not really compatible each other.

1 Thessalonians 5.3 (KJV)

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Not a good idea. Christians would start filling the place with crosses, statues, paintings, frescos, tapestry with JC face everywhere.

whenever I look at the comment sections under your videos, which occurs rarely, I understand how little people of all 3 faiths know about the opposing faiths. I'll need therapy after this.

They probably don't know Jesus and the apostles were all Jewish as well as the early church were mostly Jews and then God opened the door of salvation to the gentiles aswell. Praise God for that.

Hindu Trinity Brahma Vishnu and Shiva
Christian Trinity father son holy spirit
Islam -Allah
Judaism -Elohim
It seems Christianity is close to Hinduism than Judaism and Islam is closer to Judaism

Once I saw the Catholic monks near the Western Temple Wall. So, in theory, the answer is "Yes"

My Catholic Church doesn’t have ‘idols’, but it’s just decoration. Nobody prays to them.
