For everybody who does'nt know the context: All of this is tied to the condition that is actually mentioned in all of those verses: "If you obey to what God tells you to do." Jews did NOT do that. In fact they did the exact opposite. Thus they are not the best people. They are chosen to receive most apostles. But they disobeyed god. Yes, chosen to spread his word… not atrocities. The quaran also states that the Israelites would bring chaos/commit sin/ spread corruption twice and clearly states that if they are to repent, he would would forgive them as long as they went back to his word & teachings. Obviously, Judaism & Islam are so much alike… they share more than they share with Christianity. Israelis today primarily go by the Talmud… which was written by humans… it’s important that we separate the word of god from nationalism. Judaism is beautiful and it’s our duty to protect our brothers and sisters because they protect the word of god… they are the first true essence of the holy… it is also their duty to call our fellow Jews who are atheists and misrepresent the Torah… which many do. Since the Quran was revealed this status is now for any believer who fullfill the conditions mentioned. The Quran mention it on Verse 110 of Surah 3 (3/110).

And here is the verse:

"You are the best of peoples raised up for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are some believers, but most of them are disobedient."
