Cadences were the best part of being a platoon commander. My 1st sgt would call cadences while we ran and he was the funniest man off base and his cadence calling was amazing. Best 1sg I could ask for

It’s hard to remember them from back then. One of my DS was a ranger. He had some pretty good ones. Some for around the populated areas as I recall, others for when we were road marching in the woods
