I've put down a little sheet of foil to help start campfires before, but I've never thought to apply the same idea to grills. thanks!

These instructional video kill your guys older ones. Not that the older ones were bad, its just Grant and everyone else actually have cool personalities that end up being pretty captivating.

in addition to the foil you can use 2 to 3 hi temp bricks in your kettle to help organize the coals. two side by side down the center to split the grill into one side with the coals bunched for direct and one side protected from the coals. In an L pattern the bricks can be used to convert the grill into a smoker. two bricks leaves room for enough coals to smoke in the 150 degrees range and 3 bricks 250. this helps achieve the same temperature with a smaller fire than many traditional smoker attachments which is good for getting proper smoke.

Hey ChefSteps my wife and I just moved into an apartment, we sadly don't have a patio or balcony. Was hoping if ya'll could do some stuff inside for specifically apartments, since alot of us don't have houses yet. I really enjoyed the smokeless videos and can't wait to try them out, also can't wait to get my first Sous Vide machine, since my wife isn't a great cook, it'll definately help her out.

I had no idea you guys were out of Seattle. I was there for a wedding and walking around Pike Place Market and saw your decal on a door and was "OMG!" to my fiancee...lol
