So in summation: it is very a very inefficient way to arrive at a theoretically solution. Math is finite, why are they trying to change that? It's all leading up to 2+2=5 being accepted!

It makes getting your kid to do the homework more of a fight nowadays is which I noticed

learn by rote 😱 the times tables for a base. If you know your “tables” you can work daily maths in your head.
If you don’t know your tables you’re screwed.
What idiot thought up CCM.
