A tire went dead flat on my car. The mechanic said "It needs air", and filled it. Next day, same scenario. No, wait, that was my doctor. Actually, the mechanic pulled the nail out that caused the flat, fixed the hole, and the tire lived on. Sorry, I confused it with my wife's doctor having her take BP meds for 10 years, until I had her take her BP for 2 weeks, then weaned off the meds and take BP for a month. Yep, no need for meds. Doctor sort of agreed when faced with the evidence. crap.

Problem is that GP’s don’t try to identify the underlying cause. They just hand out tablets.

A month ago 125/103, Dr office 162/76 four weeks later a spike and hot flashes return, 146/95 at home. I suspect the culprit is estrogen at almost 51 yrs old.

Several times I go to doctors they get my bp # once and automatically give me pills good for how many months but since I know myself I decline taking the pills. I prefer taking food supplements and watching my diet, and changing my habit for the better. Understanding our own body is very essential😊

If my BP hadn't been investigated, my idiopathic intracranial high pressure diagnosis would have gone under the radar for longer, jeopardizing my eyesight.

High bp for 25 years. Not tested for anything else. My meds doubled as my bp raised even more.
Now I’ve recently been diagnosed with lung/heart issues.

Adrenals. Doctors are told at med school that Conn's Syndrome is extremely rare so it doesn't even enter their heads... it's not rare.

My bp is high and im yaking 4 BP pills, the drs cannot find the reason for it. They kept me in the hospital for almost a month doing all kinds of tests, I came out with nothing found out! I want help.

My mother first had blood pressure problems, so they gave her medication to treat it. Then secondly kidney problems, so they gave her kidney dialysis. Lastly she had heart problems. She was finally diagnosed with the final stage (3stages) of multiple myeloma. 😢
