This is a common problem when the mixture is too lean when throttling up. The idle is perfect. I had the same problem on my bike, so what I did was just to raise the needle ( lowering the e-ring ) on it. This is done in 5 minutes by opening the top cover, take out the piston and release the wire. Now gently pust the needle up or take out the spring inside in advance and then takt the needle out. Now you see the e-ring and where it is placed. Now you need to lower the e-ring ( the needle will be higher up ) hence fatter mixture. Good luck ;)

The engine stalls without choke and works ok with the choke pulled. That's a lean mixture sign. You can either try lowering the needle clip by one position down or trying a bit larger idle jet. Also, an air filter will help

im having the same problems currently with a 125cc dirtbike & new pz26 carb, no matter how I set the needle or mixture it is flat in the mids & hardly any top end ? Thinking about trying a pz30

Hello, a cold choke engine starts well, but when I turn off the choke (the engine is warm), it starts firing at the carburetor and the engine shuts off after a while.

Just get the mikuni varient of the same carb and kiss your issues goodbye. And get some extra power

Its the jet on it you have to drill the jet bigger I had the same problem

This problem is because the block cylinder or the head cilinder dont support.this is probably cause the air mixture is a lot to supply but don't have time to fully burn the mixture.

I think its a lack of air or too much gas

It is because of the choke valve, you have to close it firmly and you must tighten the two bolts on the butterfly valve. Problem solved

Replace the main jet with 105-110 open carb, set the fuel screw to 2 1/2 turns,

BUUUR means lean, spa ta-ta-tah means rich. It sounds a little lean to me. those pz27 carbs have the air/fuel mixture screw on the engine side of the carburetor which means its a fuel metering screw. Open it a couple turns an see if that helps. 🍻

you need to put an air filter on it. with no vacuum pressure made by the air filter, gas will not be pulled out the jets.

Just order a repair kit it's cheaper to repair than replace

This carburetor has a bad aerodynamic design. air vortices are formed in it. this carburetor will never work properly. I have personal experience. I recommend PWK carburetors
