John 13:35, By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. This is not an external mark that people see. They will know we love Jesus, because they will see our love toward others.

I left a world of hate, anger and rage when I came to Christ, I was on fire and all I wanted was to help people. Not because I had but because of how thankful I was that God still loved me...After years of this, I was hit with a betrayal from my Christian friends. I was accused of threatening someone who had actually threatened me. I was told I should leave the church, get my head on straight and then come back...By the same person. A week later I get called into my pastor's office and asked why I threatened this individual. What cut the deepest? I had become good friends with his youngest and helped him with his drums when he was in a band. I spent hours talking with my pastor as we remodeled the sanctuary. To have him believe this lie without question...I looked at him more disappointed than angry. Sadly I was turned on and I left the church. I still love God and believe, but I also feel as though I have been destroyed and have NO confidence and now I hide in my room and only leave to go to work. I can't survive another shot like that one...
