Connecting to TomTom Services on your device through a paired smartphone

With iPhone do I have to turn on both personal hot spot and blue tooth or can I use either personal hot spot or the blue tooth to connect

Tried the app subscription service on my G20, work well. Why not offer us, the ones who purchased lifetime maps, cameras ect ect a good discount on monthly app or a one off upgrade payment so we can bin the device and use just our phone. Also helps go green.

After the last update when I pair I was able to send the address directly from my phone to the GPS. Now it doesn't work at all, It never receives. Very very annoying.

Hallo. Habe ein Samsung Galaxy S8 und möchte es mit dem TomTom Rider 400/410 verbinden per Bluetooth damit ich die TomTom Dienste nutzen kann. Das Gerät findet das Handy, jedoch nach dem Verbinden kommt sofort die Meldung am Navi: Verbinden mit dem Internet nicht möglich. Woran liegt das und wie kann ich das jetzt verbinden???

That is ridiculous 😒 I couldn't easily use google maps then, what if I am a professional driver on the road all the time.Some countries doesn't offer cheap data!

Bloody stupid, it means you have to have personal hotspot enabled all the time and your iphone will not connect to wifi while that's enabled. Going back to the shop

this tomtom is so rubbish. I don't even have the network option in settings. I have had this thing for weeks now and its totally unreliable. The power cable comes loose and falls out. The satnav thinks im on a road with 7.5 ton weight limit when there isnt a weight limit. Its totally innacurate. It wont pair with a phone so it cant do traffic updates. THis is the worst satnav on the market
