Just the opposite!! When I was following the AHA sanctioned LFHC, low fat-high carbohydrate diet, I developed pre-diabetes, hypertension, and stage 3 kidney disease. My creatinine was 1.77 and my egfr was 52.
Since 6/2022, I have started following the HFLC ( high fat, low carb) Ketogenic lifestyle, 0 grains, 0 sugar/fructose, 0 alcohol, 0 vegetable seed oils, 0 processed carbohydrates or food..I ate, and still eat 5 pasture-raised eggs every single day. I also consume beef liver and saturated fats like MCT oil, grass-fed rib-eye steak, lamb, grass-fed, organic ghee or grass-fed, unsalted butter 🧈
I lost over 100 pounds since 6/2022, reversed my pre-diabetes, hypertension, and stage 3A kidney disease completely. My current creatnine level is 0.8 and egfr 79.
