What Your Nails Tell You About Your Health #shorts

Dr. Janine shares what your nails tell you about your health. She explains that the longitudinal lines in your nails are a sign of low thyroid function. Dr. Janine recommends supporting your thyroid with thyroid-supporting supplements like iodine from kelp, l-tyrosine, forskholii, and ashwagandha. She also suggests checking your iron levels and if needed looking for an iron bisglycinate supplement. Follow for more natural health tips.

Thank you for showing how the adrenals are connected to thyroid disfunction! I suspected this years ago & have only seen it discussed by you & two other non-traditional doctors! You & your team are a blessing, Dr. J! 💕

My nails are exactly like this. Yet, I show my doctor and pay them with insurance and out of pocket to say "it's normal". I find it amazing this beautiful, young and amazing talented woman post for free to tell me what's wrong with me.

Make sure when taking iodine supplements...TAKE IODINE AWAY FROM IRON....at least 4 hrs. These
2 minerals compete for absorption &
iron will block the iodine. Hope this helps💯😁

I heard that those lines are also typical on people with rheumatoid arthritis

Yes ma'am. Also dimples on nails can be tied to eczema and psoriasis.

I understand vertical ridges can be from low stomach acid or HCL and taking ACV daily can help

Thanks for mentioning this. You're a good detective. I would ask you if taking that type if iron a couple of times a week us sufficient so as not to get any iron build up so you can be sure not to develop gray hair.
