All of this is true. I had an 11 year relationship with a narcissist/abuser. I have 3 children with him and I have experienced all of this. Sad I didn’t even know about narcissistic behavior until after I left 6 years ago. But I’m learning so much everyday.

Yes. I learned this first hand. My ex-husband revealed his narcissistic tendencies within the first year of our marriage. Prior to that, he was the nicest person. So nice. As soon as he realized he was not going to control every aspect of my life and couldn't have his way about everything.. that was it. The first time I witnessed it I thought.. what the hell have I gotten myself into!? He would go into absolute rages! Over the simplest things. Cussin' & fussin'. And over time, he became verbally abusive, said really nasty & hurtful things, started name-calling, wishing death on me, my friends & family and even making threats (his bark was actually worse than his bite. he proved himself to be a big bully to those weaker than him. I'll admit that it was scary at first. but then it became incredibly sad.). And he always thought that an apology, the promise to never do it again and some sort of gift made everything fine. Nope. Well, I finally got fed up with the madness and left him. Life was good again and has been pretty sweet ever since. I'm lovin' it. 😁👍❤

These people are so deeply disturbed. I got rid of my ex after one year of dating with confusion, chaos and such secretive behavior. I had never experienced anything like that before in my life. It took almost a year of healing, sone therapy and self love and care to understand the depth of this insanity. They don’t think you’ll ever figure them out. When I did snd told him goodbye he was so mean, I was floored. Evil.

But…And here’s the gem. I believe God needed to show me this person and behavior so that I could re-learn myself and my values, boundaries, etc. I met a wonderful man who is intentional, mature, and so communicative and open, it was a shock in the beginning. He respects and adores me.

I think we’re going to be engaged very soon. It took a terrible experience for me to understand my true worth. It sounds cliche but it is so true. Please take the time to heal and relax-learn your worth. This will never happen to you again. And if you were to ever cross an entity like that again, you will know immediately and remove yourself.
