Even when you ask the narcissist why are you apologizing?! They will never give you a direct answer.

They can craft a perfectly written apology tailored just for you. The myth that they don't apologize keeps people from identifying narcissists. They apologize and then do exactly the same thing over and over again. Then tug on your heart strings and say "i just cant get it right". But do the same thing to them and watch the meltdown. Its an apology that comes from years of figuring out the best behavior to get what they want.

There's no remorse in the narcissist world, infact you may see a self satisfied expression on their faces when they've hurt and humiliated you, it's sadly a victory to them they won. And to them that's of great importance that they are in their minds of the greatest importance.
