Why Do Women Get 'The Ick'?

The phenomenon of 'the ick' has descended upon social media - a phrase that points to women feeling turned off by certain - seemingly innocuous - forms of masculine behaviour, or lack thereof. In this video, I explore why women lose attraction for men and what to do about it.

Never think about what women want because women do not know what they want, they just know there's someone better. Of course there is no one better so they end up alone. This is the modern world so don't get hooked on one person, men are much more likely to find a life partner than women will.

The real problem is that they now have far too many (perceived) options in dating. Even an average women gets hundreds of matches and DM"s a week. Even filtering out the guys they don't find attractive, they need even more filters to narrow down their myriad of choices.

I feel like I have just done something recently to give the girl I was dating "the Ick", but I'm not sure exactly what it was. But the scenario was one of these... we had been on and off dating over a few years, and I was not really wanting to commit to anything serious, because I had doubts about her and she had kids. Throughout that period she chased me. Then, about 3 months ago how I viewed her changed, and I became more commited and let her know I was. And from that point she seemed to lose attraction to me! And we've now gone our own ways.

The best advice is to simply walk away from a woman. They hate to be ignored or dismissed. Once you do this, you have their attention and then they are interested in you. "How dare you ignore me, don't you know how AWESOME I am?" (lol) Now, she has to meet your criteria. I have a friend who is average-looking but wealthy. There was a very pretty barbie-doll woman about 35 years old, who thought she was too good for him. She thought she would dismiss him and let him know she was too good for him. He ignored her. Never looked her way and it drove her crazy! She would intentionally seek him out to get him to pay attention to her and he would see her coming and look in the other direction or walk in the opposite direction. At the gym, she would walk all the way around the Olympic-sized pool, to say hello to him and the moment she got close enough he would go underwater and then swim away from the area. She kept pursuing him. Then someone mentioned to her that he was very wealthy. That's when the games got really fun because she was hot on his trail. It became so bad, that he quit the gym. Then she was stalking him and she would show up at the store and other places. Never underestimate the power of dismissing a woman and ignoring her. lol Just keep in mind not all of us are crazy. Sadly, we're the minority.

This "ick" list has gotten out of hand nowadays! The last time I saw a video about it it included already well over a 1000 things that guys do that give women an "ick", so it's pretty much literally ANYTHING that a man does, at ANY time, and in ANY circumstance or situation, and for ANY reason whatsoever, that could be considered an "ick" to a modern woman who has been negatively influenced by modern society and especially (anti-)"social media", lol!...

I mean, things like "having to choose something else to eat" at a restaurant, simply because they are currently out of whatever you originally wanted, is nothing that you can control, because how were you supposed to know they were out of whatever you originally wanted! Now IF you were to "flip out" and get mad at the restaurant or the waiter for it as a result, instead of just simply being fine with it and understanding and just calmly ordering something else, then if you were actually losing your cool about it instead, then that WOULD show a weakness and immaturity on your part, which wouldn't be surprising if it gave your girl an "ick", because if in THAT case, it probably should, but if she's getting an ick ONLY simply because you "had to order something else because they were out", then that sounds more like a HER problem than yours!

And this is just one simple example of little unimportant stupid stuff that shouldn't be giving women "icks", but simply because of the overly negative way men in general are currently viewed in modern society, women are more biased subconsciously by that attitude to think that their man is "incompetent" or "weak" or whatever, even when he isn't and the situation is a totally normal occurrence!

Unfortunately, MANY people nowadays, both women and men, cannot distinguish between what is ACTUALLY an important to consider "red flag" about someone, and when whatever they're doing or saying is totally frivolous, negligible, and UNimportant. It is essential to be able to realize and understand the differences between actual bad traits in another person, (especially a partner or potential partner), and when it's simply nothing to be concerned with, or it could happen to anyone. Sadly, many people have a difficult time properly distinguishing those differences anymore, and I think it's further negatively influenced by social media and the way men in general are looked down upon in modern society!
