Love your videos. Husband and I adopted a malinois cross from a shelter. Yes, she is always seeking engagement, if by engagement you mean attention, constant petting and stratchs! God forbid, we need both our hands to do a task!! Seriously, she does go to her place or foot of the bed when asked. She is the smartest dog we've ever owned and by far the most athletic. One great thing is that they naturally have a great recall because she always wants to be with one of us! These fabulous dogs!

I grew up with German pointers as my dad was an avid hunter. After, moving out I always loved the shepherd lines. Currently working with a challenging 1.5yr Dutch shepherd. I'm always amazed at the obedience side of things given the young age.

More in-depth videos like this one please. We’re experienced owners (Great Dane, Pit Bull, Amstaff, among others) and planning on getting a Boerboel in the future.

Ive got decades of experience. I trained and raced huskies for 30+ years. I worked in Mastiff Rescue for 10. But my rescued Dutch Shepherd has been more of a challenge than i could have ever imagined. He's 4.5 and ive hd him a year anf and a half. He's a delight. And requires so much work. I should be 20 years younger. 😁.

Old English Sheepdogs. Not as intense as some on this list, but independent and needing firm guidance. They're too tough to be good for beginners, and therefore end up getting ignored despite their special personalities.

I can't imagine not having a challenging dog breed. I've always had working or sporting breeds, I'm loving my newest dog, a Malinois out of a shelter, at 14 months she had no training, though we're quickly catching up!

Every time Will gets halfway through a sentence we get a transition - it's so distracting. Video editor needs to chill.

Lets just not bs,
Never recomend a mastiff or bull terrier to anyone .
These are breeds bred for specific reasons just like greyhounds or gundogs are .

No amount of saying they are big softies and high energy requiring experienced owners helps when everyone knows who wnts these breeds and why and its everyone else who has smile nervously cross the road or put up with them repeating the stuff heard online as it tries to rip your cockerpoo to pieces .

Blocked .
