shi tzus can be absolute nightmares though. they can be incredibly stubborn and difficult to train

Had a cavalier for almost 13 years. Raised two kids and two cats. He was the best and smartest dog I've ever had. Do yourself a favor if you decide to get one, get two. They love company and if you're not around, they'll have a friend. Plus, two is better than one anyway :)

My Shih Tzu had no food drive and was a picky eater .. It was hell to train her but once she learnt things she was the best !

I’ll stick with my cat. She sleeps 80% of the day and then when she’s not sleeping she’s walking around or sitting in the window and I don’t have to take her out at night. 😂😂😂😂 but seriously I love your content! Keep up the hard work! ❤

I work at an animal shelter and we have any kind of dog breeds there. Pugs, Huskys, anything. Also puppys. It's not always old or aggressive dogs! Take a look at your local shelter before running to a breeder 💖

guys remember he’s speaking based off of his experience and knowledge in their temperaments which he is well versed in. yes, many people know that pugs and cavaliers have health issues, but he’s recommending them based off what he has dealt with. he’s speaking as a dog trainer, not a vet

Cavalier King Charles dogs are the best, they’re super caring, very chill, and just all around great. I don’t think they shed like crazy either

My first dog was a Shih Tzu that came from a rescue organization. That dog was very well trained by previous owners. Yogi was smart and friends -- he loved all kids and small dogs. BUT.... whenever a big dog came near, Yogi would turn into Cujo. He had no fear; he actually made a German Shepard go back to sit with it's mom at a dog park -- didn't bite or anything, just barked. Best dog. I miss him every day.

I have a Shih Tzu mix and she is the best dog ever. I’ve had her for ten years now and she’s still going strong. She is an absolute sweetheart and I would 100% recommend thy is breed to older people

I have a 5 month Shih Tzu she has been super easy to train, gentle and very social, confident doesn't bark more than 5 times a day, has a great food drive but doesn't like grooming other than that she is an amazing dog w great personality I think it's because of her parents both of her parents are showline dogs with amazing personalities I think she inherited the good stuff thank God I got her

I had a shih tzu poodle mixed dog named Bentley and he was the best dog. So explorative, intelligent, and communicative. Loved affection and personal time.
