I would argue that our salvation isn’t necessarily a process, but it is continual. The way we understand the word save as a 2023 Christian is unique. For a 1 century follower, I bet it is more like “saved from dying.” Of that makes sense.

If we read it in context, the OG Greek uses the present, passive, participle of the Greek verb, sozo: to save, keep from harm, preserve, rescue.

The power of the cross does have the power to save once for eternity, but it also has the power to rescue from the devilish schemes of the adversary on a daily basis.

I am sorry but this is not corruption but rather how the Greek works. The word used is σῳζομένοις which literally means "being saved". The KJV has picked up on what it is saying and changing the English so it makes more sense as it is translated. Most translations are legit, but people who don't know how to read the Greek come up with conspiracies like this because they don't understand ancient Greek.

Older versions of the Bible had a lot more books compared newer Bibles like the Tyndale Bible with 80 books and the Ethiopian Bible with 81 books compared to the 1885 KJV Bible with only 66 books.

Being saved, as in many are coming to Christ and are being saved. Not as in a single person came to Christ and is in a process of being saved.. Change your perspective of looking at the scripture.
