It is beyond me how NVIDIA doesnt get a class action lawsuit to their ass. This is simply ridiculous.

People should start suing these companies for not honoring warranties, warranty is like a contract and any breach of contract should face legal consequences

I'm curious if out of all the 4090s you have repaired, have you ever had to repair the same board twice?

I will never overclock my TUF 4090. 400+ watts over that tiny connector is asking for trouble. I've got mine undervolted, it rarely pulls over 250watts. I think its kept me safe so far.

I've loved Nvidia for the last 15 years, but I am so glad I picked up a 7900XTX this generation. Not quite on par with a 4090, but absolutely zero regrets!

You should publish a list of cards which you have never seen in your shop, so the rest of us can use it as a buyer's guide!

NVIDIA knows about it and advises AIB's to cancel warranty claims as physical damage. Nothing ever changes in this industry, NVIDIA still behaving like NVIDIA.

If they admit then they will have to repair or replace... This is what happens when you have a monopoly

Wow that should be covered under warranty

Kingpin put two 12 vhpr receptacles on the RTX 3090 ti cards that EVGA produced. It seems that would be a low-cost solution to this problem. But then, it may cost an extra 8 bucks in manufacturing. I am done upgrading my system. I will only replace broken parts. The hardware vendors, esp. Nvidea, have taken all of the fun out of the hobby of building exciting new computers.

I bought a founder edition. For now it works quite well. I take a lot of care of supporting the card in the case, and plug firmly the connector, but you give me chills.

I bought a 4090, oddly enough the connector at the GPU didn't melt but the connectors at the power supply unit did melt.
I even bought the special cable from NZXT to go from 2 connectors to a single one so I didn't have that crazy adaptor with like 8+ connections installed.

Too much current through a single connector, it's obvious...

I just love how prices went through the roof and quality went down in hardware.
