Hey Chaps! What GPU is in your Gaming Laptop/PC right now?

The 4070 is NOT the sweet spot. It basically performs on par with a 3070ti laptop. It needs DLSS3 just to show any meaningful performance improvements. People should buy heavily discounted last-gen laptops or wait until a 4080 laptop drops in price. That bit of advice on this advertisement is not the best.

laptops seem expensive until you remember the price of phones these days lmao

The question is not what gaming laptop you should buy, the question is where will you get money to buy a gaming laptop.

Even the cheapest laptop with a 4050 did a really good job.

I have a Acer Nitro 5 with i7 12650H and RTX 4050(140W). Actually it's my first laptop and i love it. ❤

Can't wait for the 50-series where we are all gonna say "RTX 5050"

For myself it would be the Triton, not because of the great performance, but also because I do other work on it. I know they look very expensive, but I get to run my OS of choice, have plenty of fast RAM and a graphics card that is potentially well cooled. I do use laptops professionally, and I write off the devices over three years.

Get the 4050 laptop and spend your money on the 4090 desktop.

I was thinking about a high-end laptop since my pc is over 5 years old. However, if I replaced only my desktop GPU with a RTX 4080, it will probably still outperform the highest end RTX 4090 laptop (as that GPU is basically an underclocked desktop RTX 4080). Also, I don't think you should enable frame generation in your base benchmarks since it can be argued that those are "fake" frames.

Tip: Do the benchmarks with DLSS off. Then we can see the real perfomance.

Appreciate how you sectioned off different parts of the video for different models of laptops. Gives more choices

Hi everyone! Just want to said that results on 12:54 are misleading and not true. 4050 will, indeed, get you 75 FPS on High Preset (FSR off) FHD, but for 4060 - it will get you merely 3 FPS increase on average with 78 FPS on the same Preset, and 100, 121 and 127 for 4070, 4080, 4090 accordingly. Just don't mislead people about quality of product you are promoting. All result you can find yourself in the internet, notebookcheck definitely one of them. Have a nice day!

Looking to grab a Predator Helios Neo 16 next month, the RTX4060's performance is satisfactory for me, and these things are top tier value in my region

I ordered a Triton 17X for $3400 USD! Great deal I'm so happy, can't wait till I get it.

This video is the only one up with benchmarks on the Triton 17X. Interesting that it's well ahead of the Pred 16 in CPU benchmarks despite having the same CPU. Result of better cooling?

Great channel, to confirm when you say - 'All my tests, all my opinions are my own.' On the testing front, I'm assuming NVIDIA specify the tests that you have to carry out, i.e games that feature DLSS3 or e-sports titles which will result in marketable fps numbers? Are the tests your own if you've been instructed on what/how to test?

Video needs to mention that more wattage does not net you more performance in 40 series gpus. Also needs to mention that most 40 series gpus perform very similar to 30 series gpus.
