I recently swapped back from AMD to NVIDIA. Sold my RX 7600 and bought an RTX 4060 Ti 16GB since I've recently gotten into Stable Diffusion. The difference in time it takes to generate images is wild and I'm content with it's gaming performance as well.

Also upgraded my CPU and RAM from an i3-12100F and 16GB to an i5-13400F and 32GB, though I initially forgot to update my BIOS before installing the new CPU (that was a fun few hours..totally didn't panic).

While I was on AMD though I didn't have any noticeable issues the entire time, outside of lackluster SD performance. It was a solid experience all around.

I got 4070 super a month ago, but was skeptical of the longevity, as rx 8000 and rtx 5000 is soon to arrive, but it doesn't really matter after some thought

The reason is that Nvidia's features like raytracing and frame gen don't really work until you have a high end card. Hardware Unboxed argue that at that tier AMD is better value as base framerate should always be given priority. And they're right.
