Overcoming these habits is a journey, but these strategies have been key for me:

1. Meal and snack planning
2. Practicing non-judgment
3. Journaling and therapy
4. The 2B Mindset program

If you’re looking for support, I’ve created tools that I use daily to manage this issue. Check the link in my bio for easy recipes, meal delivery, mindful housewares, and the program that transformed my life.

So so good!

1 diced onion
4 garlic cloves
2 tsp ginger or use the dorot frozen cubes
1 tbsp avocado or olive oil
1 lb ground chicken breast
1 whole bag of Cole slaw, 1 whole bag shredded carrots (about 6 -8 cups of veggies!)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp sesame oil, I might have used less
1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
2 tsp cornstarch or arrowroot dissolved in 3 tbsp water
Sesame seeds and scallions for garnish.

Start by sautéing the oil and onion with garlic and ginger. Add in the chicken and use a fork to break it up so it’s half cooked through. Add in the veggies sometimes you have to go in batches and wait for more room in the pan as the veggies wilt. Add in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and 3 tablespoons of sesame oil. Add in the broth and cook on low for 20 to 30 minutes. Add in the slurry and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes for it to thicken. Serve with spaghetti or in lettuce cups. And top with the scallions and sesame seeds for garnish.
Enjoy!!!

Love your videos! You’re, hands down, my favorite dietitian on you tube!

This is the best video I’ve seen on this. While I am underweight, I am not exactly healthy - I have started eating sugary foods when stressed and it does affect my mood/blood sugar (vicious cycle). My mother always cautioned against emotional eating and said you have to fix the mental part before anything else (otherwise, you will always revert). Most channels/vids about dieting seem to leave that part out as if it’s as simple as food choice and balance/moderation.

Glad you acknowledge the psychology in terms of keeping or obtaining a good balanced food relationship. ❤

I love your videos and recipes! If possible I’d love more vegetarian meals? I’m a volume eater too and LOVE my veggies but tofu and chickpeas and like the only way I get protein. Tofu is really versatile but still gets old.

Kudos!! You eat TONS of vitamins and minerals in those vegetables & lean meats. I'm going to increase my amount of vegetables that I feed my family! Thank you. ~ Michelle

Its okay to indulge once in awhile.
If you have a craving for a cupcake, go ahead and have one! Its all about moderation! I follow her for reciepes. But people who had weight problems (including myself) you star developing unhealthy relationships with food.
I had this problem till i went to therapy. If you feel you have an eating disorder, seek help if you can! Because being TO strict with your eating habots. It becomes a problem as well!

Hey, as a vegetarian, what would be the best protein replacement for the chicken?

But when I am emotinal eating, I want the (junk) food immediately. If I could delay gratification, I wouldn't be in this mess to begin with. Please address this issue.

Wait, so how did you overcome emotional eating or minimize it? Some behaviors like the volume eating and focusing on a lot of low calorie indicate you still have a certain relationship with food. No judgment but from the psychological perspective, this is the impression.
