In this video, Tim Warner covers Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 8. He’ll discuss some of its most notable features, including the “modern-style” interface that’s designed to be touch-centric, full-screen, and optimized for tablet devices. Learning how to use Internet Explorer’s core functions is an important aspect of working in Windows.

The Internet Explorer web browser has been around for many, many years, and the most recent version is IE 10. It’s important to note that this browser does not support Windows XP or the ill-fated Windows Vista operating systems. This demonstrates Microsoft’s commitment to leaving XP behind and forcing users to move beyond Vista into Windows 7 or, preferably, Windows 8.

Tim walks through both metro-style and “traditional” versions, then discusses how Internet Explorer 10 adopts the latest W3C standards for HTML5 and CSS3. He’ll also clarify the controversy surrounding flash support in the metro version and Windows alternating decisions in that regard.

That is a good question. What do you think Chrome will be like? Is there anything your find beneficial about Windows 8?

It is very easy just go to Start and type then click apps or settings or files or just go from Charms and do the same.

It's like they made it harder to find certain files and programs and making it so you have to go through more steps to get what you want. They are back tracking like they did when they came out with Vista.

I think Chrome will merge into their touch pad like layout, or do something drastically horrible and everyone hate it. But no, I tried Windows 8 for about a month and hated every bit of it, it's like they based it around touch devices ONLY. This is a version made for children who don't know what the heck they're doing. It also comes preloaded with A TON of useless and annoying crap. I did however like your video.
