Just jammin out in the tiny house and installing the UniFi Access system to make sure all my stuff is safe! Overkill? Nah, who doesn't want a keyless entry system for their sanctuary?

Follow along as I mount and install the Access Pro reader, the Access Hub, and Access Lite reader for the interior. I then power it all through my PoE switch...BOOP! Which means, no need to get an electrician!

Don't miss the next episode! I'll be hooking up the mag lock to make all this work.

It better to hide all the wires and the hub. don't forget will need a bypass override, if system fails, and power backup.

Forgot to show using the readers, especially the inside!

It’s super cool what you can afford to install when Ubiquiti pays for this channel! 🤣

Why do you need a reader on the I assume you think you need it to get out? Buy something called a REX it is motion sensing and will disable the striker as someone approaches the door from the inside OR get a push button. so as you approach the door you just hit the button and it disables the mag strike. This is typically how an access control system is set up since you only need to protect one side of a door (you don't need to protect the outside from those inside, LOL)
