I was getting cateracts, started eating blueberries every day on breakfast cereal having read that they can improve cataract. Nothing much happened at first but after a year my cateracts started to improve. Now, after 3 yrs, they have all but gone, I'd estimate about 90 % cleared up, most of the time they are not noticeable and I don't even get dazzled by oncoming car headlights anymore !

Just opened my copy of How Tot to Age!!!
Opened it to the entries about multiple sclerosis (because I’m disabled, and have MS) - but then move straight on to anti-inflammatory stuff like turmeric.
Been doing DailyDozen for a long time!!

Another tea rich in anthocyanins is Butterfly Pea Flower tea! I just bought a bag of these flowers from Amazon. Doesn't have much of a taste, but the tea sure is a lovely color blue. And it changes color depending on what you add to it! From Wikipedia:
-
*"One of the most distinctive characteristics of butterfly pea flower tea, and other drinks that use butterfly pea flower extract, is that it will change color when the pH balance changes. A deep blue tea will turn purple with the addition of lemon juice, turning a deeper shade of purple the more lemon juice is added. Mixed with fuchsia roselle hibiscus leaves the tea will turn a bright red color."*

Does anyone know why we don’t grow more purple cauliflower vs white?
Is it yield, climate, insect, disease related? Or just people preference?🤔

I've recently developed a habit of making red cabbage wraps out of a variety of fillings and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. I quite like it, and today I learned from you that the same anthocyanins that make blueberries blue make red cabbage purple (why do they call it RED cabbage, anyway?) -- awesome!
