Really useful video thank you. Removed the bottom cover for better access, great tip that. Sent off for the fan removal tool too and will pop the alternator in when it arrives 👍🏻

Great video! I've just completed the same repair. We have two LR3s (Discovery 3s). You got the same volt output that I'm getting from the new Duralast alternator: 13.8. Our other vehicle, which has the OEM Denso gets 14.2. It is my understanding that 14.2 is the target. But I am getting no error codes from the 13.8 output. Do you have any experience with this question/issue?
