2004 Land Rover Discovery Alternator Removal & Replacement - EASY - DIY!
Показать описание
Sorry my audio was recording through one channel only on this and a few of my other recent videos. I just fixed the problem for all my future videos, but I can't change the audio on this upload.
Just a quick video showing how I replaced the alternator in a 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE7. This would probably be the same for a few other years and models of Land Rover. Just be careful to not drop the bolts as you're taking them out and this job shouldn't take more than an hour or so. Taking the time to push the bushings on the cradle back in will save you a little bit of hassle or headache when trying to fit the new alternator in. The cradle can crack if you force it. (Ask me how I know).
Hope you find this video helpful.
Tools needed:
A Long Handle Flex Head ratchet with a couple small extensions
10mm socket
13mm socket
15mm socket on a long handled breaker bar
Pry Bar
Channel Lock Pliers or something to pry/push in the cradle mount bushings back in to make room for the new alternator.
Thanks for watching!
