Is the wife suffering from depression or some other mental health issue? She has a home, a nanny to care for one child while the other is at school, and she chooses not to work. She has no purpose because she's given up both her career and her purpose as a mother. I'd ask what she wants, but I have a feeling she doesn't know. It sounds like she needs therapy.

You CAN’T work 2 FT jobs and go to school, there’s not enough hours in the day. I worked ONE FT job & went to school. I had 4 hrs a day to sleep, shower & eat. How is this possible? BS.

I'm sorry this has happened to you and your family. Something similar happened to my son. I do have one suggestion, please be mindful how much you are drinking, It will not help you in the long run and the wife may try to exaggerate it later in court. Good luck and stay strong.

Why would you get a nanny for a SAHM? I was one for 18 years and I had 3 kids plus my friends 2 kids. I never needed a nanny to help. I struggled but I was still able to care for the kids. Maybe get a maid if the house care is too much for her. Maybe she's depressed but she should be able to handle 1 kid. Maybe she needs therapy or have her start using that degree she got. You got a nanny she might as well go back to work. Maybe that will help her mentally.

I bet she doesn't thank you for everything you have done and provide for her and your children. I agree with another comment that said maybe she doesn't have a purpose bc she doesn't have a career but she isn't taking care of her children either. She may be depressed feeling that she isn't needed/ her life has no purpose. She may need therapy.
