I am not sure how Yahshua is the best option in 1 Cor 12:3. I understand this is a transliteration of יהושוע‎, Jesus' Hebrew name but the text of 1 Corinthians, and all of the NT, is Greek. The word being translated in 1 Cor 12:3 is Ἰησους, often translterated as Iēsous. If we really wanted to honor Jesus then we would transliterat the word actually in the inspired text. Or realize that the NT sets a precedent that allows us to say Jesus and still honor him.

A friend of mine just published a Bible that has some really neat features. It’s expensive but it is really nice. They are Smith and Jones Bible publishers. It is printed and bound by Royal Jongbloed. I love your videos. I’ve rebound a couple Bibles and I’m trying to take my skill to the next level and your videos are an excellent resource.

I’m a note taker and I hope they make a wide margin version or at least make a wider margin on the outer edge.
The Masorites put their notes in the margins of the Masoretic text, so that they would not write on the text itself. So since they want to keep the book holy/set-apart it would be nice for them to give us some margin space so we can do the same😊

While I think its a beautiful bible, and am a fan of the level of reverence and care they take with the word of God, even to print those instructions at the back, I think that the hebrew words, particularly in the new testament are misleading. The new testament was written in Koine Greek, not Hebrew... so referring to Ruach HaKodesh in 1Corinthians is objectively wrong because Paul wrote Άγιο πνεύμα (Agio Pevma, literally - holy breath/mist/wind). I'm sure there is an argument somewhere that the spirit of the holy one (Ruach HaKodesh) is different than the holy spirit (Agio Pnevma) and I personally prefer a more accurate translation... rather than conflating two phrases into one, regardless of whether or not they are referring to the same idea...

The 'Tree of Life Version' (TLV) is pretty much the same concept that came out awhile ago.

It's my go to version of scriptures. Definitely a wonderful addition to any collection.

As far as Jesus vs Yeshua, he knows who you speak to by your heart and spirit. Many people in scriptures go by multiple names, and I guarantee no matter what you adress him by (with respectfulness) he will hear us in our call to him.

My bible comes me everywhere. I read it in my bed on the floor in the bathroom; I mean everywhere. I highlight my bible for study and I used to not like doing that to my bible because in my mind I was scared to mark in it. I've come to learn that if I really want to know God, I must spend time with him everyday everywhere, and any way I can. The suggestions in the back are a little silly to me but I do love the rendering of text when it comes to God's titles and names. I'll definitely check it out.

1:48, Ruach Ha Kodesh is the Holy Spirit. Ruach Elohim is Holy God. Elohim can also mean infinite all powerful God, or Supreme Mighty One. But, yes, I really like that Bible version and the leather cover. EDIT: BTW, Hineni is Hebrew to say, here I am.

Genuine leather is a grade of cow leather (one of the layers of leather on a hide between the "top grain" and the "suede") and is not made of pig skin. If it says "genuine leather" and it's made of pig skin, sue them. Genuine leather is real leather, just not the best grade.
