There are dozens of Bible translations available today, but which one should you use? I say, why limit ourselves to just one? Today we'll talk about why Bible translations differ from others and how to decide which ones are the best options for you. I'll also share my personal top three translations I recommend!

I have the NASB95, ESV study bible, and CSB life connections study bible. My NASB is my main bible and I reference the other two during study time.

I refer you all to Mark Ward videos. He has done extensive work on analyzing KJV and other translations.

I like to have a word for word translation, and a thought for thought version. Also CSB is a good balance between the two.😊

I really love all the word for word translations! U can never go wrong with those. Sometimes i get curious n will look at a verse from the niv or csb. But it doesnt even compare to kjv for me. So i agree with ur picks ! Word for word is the way to go..for me at least !

I’m adult that has intellectual disability my reading is not high understanding . It’s okay for me to read New International Reader’s Version for personal reading ?. It’s okay to have NLT as my study Bible Reading ??

Hmm.. I think CSB is more towards the middle. They do word-for-word for sometimes.

I currently use the NASB, ESV, NKJV. Am wondering what you know about the “One New Man” Bible — this looked interesting to me but haven’t yet given it a read but am hoping to start it later this year.

For study purposes, I would say it's a mistake to use both the King James Version AND the New King James Version. I wold go with the ESV, NKJV, and the NASB.

These translation charts are a joke 😂
The ESV is not more literal than the KJV/NKJV. I’ve read from the KJV/NKJV/NASB/ESV. Of those four the ESV is the most hyped and least literal of the four.
