KNEE ULTRASOUND (PART 1/4): ANTERIOR SIDE

This video is the first of 4 videos about knee ultrasound. We will face de anterior structures of the knee, its anatomy and its ultrasound visualisation with quite level of detail. We will begin with quadricipital tendon, and continue with patellar tendon, femoral and patellar cartilage, and finally prepattelar, and infrapattelar bursae. Excellent introduction to ultrasound. Excellently delivered with great quality images both cadaver, MRI & ultrasound together. Nice presentation as well! Clearly not an English native speaker but nicely brought regardless, I’ve been to plenty a congres where the top speaker could learn a thing or two from you.
As an orthopaedic surgeon, I have no background in ultrasound whatsoever, but I do see the advantages to having ultrasound readily available to aid my decision making, so this sort of videos is great to get you started. Would love to see some examples of pathology in the tendons, but I take it that’s not in the scope of this video. Best learn to walk before running I suppose :) I’ll be sure to check the rest of your channel. Many thanks!
