Consumer Reports each year asks subscribers whether they've had problems with their cars. That data, which this year comes from 640,000 vehicles, forms our annual reliability survey. Here are the vehicles at the bottom of our rankings.

I really don't think basic functions like climate control should be relegated to a infotainment unit. I'm sure car companies would eventually like every function in the car to be shoved into a cheap computer prone to failure, but it makes no sense for a reliability standpoint at this time. Ford and their transmission problems. Duly noted.

I own two Subarus wrx one with 100k miles the other with 46k and i have had zero issues with them. I do follow the maintenance schedule very closely to keep them running in top shape. I love my subies

Buy a car that has a reputation for being reliable. If it’s a first year overhaul wait a year or two to see if people have having any issues with it. Or just get a Toyota or Lexus.

Having wrenched on cars for 20 years, I dismiss any list that does not have a VAG product on it. My top 10 list of least reliable cars has 6 VW's & 4 Audi's on it.

We just want to say thank you not only to the staff and all the hard-working people at CR but to all of the consumers who take the time to give the data that is necessary to complete the reports. All hard-working Americans want to make sure they're dollars go as far as they can without Consumer Reports I think I would have made so many poor purchases over the last 5 years...

Assembly and quality issues = nah, as usual
Infotainment system lags = WE GOT THE ANTICHRIST, SENTENCE OF DEATH

as for vovlo, they shouldn't of been stupid enough to put climate control on a screen when it was simple to have individual buttons and knobs

As for Tesla:they should have known those falcon doors would be trouble from day one if you only sell 2 to 3 vehicles reliability should be spot on it's three vehicles so it's not as many parts, not to mention one bad vehicle brings your score down 33+ percent
