Silver looks classic, I thought of buying a blue, but now I'm going for the silver.

Everyone who says that the chin in front is ugly doesn't understand the marketing behind it. Apple has always made it a priority to stand out alongside their competitors. The iPhone 'notch', the 'click wheel', and the Apple logo on the back of their MacBooks, just to name a few. The chin, whilst being a storage compartment for multiple hardware pieces is also used to *distinguish* iMac's from other monitors.

I agree about the disappointment of ports, 4 does not seem like enough when HDMI is involved, printer, remote hard drive option, transferring photos from mini iPad to iPhoto in iMac you for enough detail. 👍💯

I almost look at this machine as a big notebook instead of a small desktop. I look forward to seeing case options for it. This is the nicest and most polished computer I have ever used. I can't wait to see the what they do with the larger model.

I'm actually thinking to get one, but I'm more attracted to the older design. This model isn't bad though!

good review/video. but I think most people will like to see the performance of all these products at their base level or 1 step up. 99% don't buy the maxed-out version.

I learnt early on in illustration and design that black frames overwhelm the picture. White frames enhance it. I love love love the chin and the white bezels. The complimenting darker color at the backs. I love it. Bravo Apple

Frankly I’ve not had any “thing” with the bezel or the chin! I’m glad it doesn’t have a logo on the front! I’ve the silver and the black line that sets the bezel off I’ve found that the beautiful screen is astounding.

I love the look of the iMac and all of its design aspects. I like the chin to use for post it notes.

I honestly like the fact that there is no Apple logo on the front. When you use an iPhone or iPad, there is no Apple logo but on the back. Most people don't need to have it rubbed in their face. I kind of hope that on the MacBook line, they take the "MacBook Pro"/"MacBook Air" text off of the bottom display bezel.

Got a One Plus Nord and an iMac 2021 in Orange. Love to have the best of both worlds for me

I finally got my iMac the entry level model in blue and I LOVE the design. I want the thin computer with the chin and the white bezel. The chin with the pastel colour gives the computer style and makes it clear that it is an Apple design. I am happy there is no Apple logo on the chin. If I want the Apple logo on the computer I can put the sticker on the base of the stand. The white bezel is far better than the black from a design aesthetic. The black bezel would draw the eye to it and become a feature, whereas the white bezel blends with the screen and pastel colours and compliments the minimal theme.

Excellent detailed review Justin, beautifully shot and edited. I am waiting eagerly for mine, it will be my new video editing iMac and now I am really looking forward to it!

No sd card reader? Get a usb stick with a usb-c attachment. Not enough storage? Get a portable ssd drive. No hdmi, usb-A, sd reader ports? Get a clip on hub. Can't raise the imac to your height? Put something under it like a computer booster shelf to raise it higher or the wall mount that they sell. All of your complaints have easy fixes.
