Feel like I'm one of the few people that get the white bezel, looks so sharp and clean imo. Maybe would be nice to give people some models in black also though (prob coming in the inevitable pro version).

Seriously Joanna, your video on this product is so refreshing and clever compared to other tech YouTuber's "cut and paste" presentations.

You are a true gem! Keep up the good work!

Your style of presentation is what I like the most

For those of us who work mostly with text, reading and writing, usually black type on a white background, the white bezel is ideal.

"nobody cares about desktop PCs" *looks at GPU prices*

white bezels on the front - blends in better with most environments it will be in. black would stand out.
two tone colors design is a throw back to the G3.

Someone: Nobody really cares about desktop computers anymore.
Me: Dislikes from gamer desktop computer and goes on to live life knowing it was far superior in every way.

in office, I prefered having iMac rather than MacBook. bigger screen and better user experience.

Enjoyable but I disagree with the basic supposition that no one cares about desktops. You might not but my iMac has been indispensable during this work from home period. I live in Zoom professionally now so my iMac’s eye-height camera makes all the difference. I’ve been nursing a mid-2011 iMac waiting for these machines. Still choose the iMac for Zoom instead of my technically-superior 2020 iPad Pro because of the camera angle. And I don’t understand the obsession with black bezels. It’s just the recent fashion. We had decades of beige, silver, and pure white bezels. The new design is clearly an homage to the original’s light green pinstripes. Needless to say, I’m very eager for the Friday delivery of my new blue iMac.

I'm so glad you aren't shouting at me like that grim woman at the Verge!

Those old iMacs were really cool too. The new iMacs backs look better than the front of new iMacs.

I don't like that there's no Apple logo on the front. There's more than enough space on the bezel for it.

Technically, a desktop is my choice because while laptops are great on the go, I get more done on a desktop. And BTW, the Surface Studio is freaking awesome and thin, too.

There are always those who will hate something because it is different than the old model. You want a black bezel for what reason?

Surprised no one has mentioned the reduced power consumption gains even for the desktop implementation based on M1. The old 21.5" Intel iMac had an internal power supply rated at 185W. Now even with the increased display resolution and speakers, the external power brick is only 145W. A 20+% reduction is power consumption is impressive and support Apple's environmental stance!
