Best mod for this chassis is to flip the front hubs to lower the steering link, drill the hub carriers so you can rotate them back to give a decent amount of caster angle. This will raise the steering arm close to the servo horn and give as much caster angle as a TRX4. This has none stock and the front wheels scrub bad! Also remove every screw and locktite it or you'll constantly have things falling off.. also grease the diffs and gearbox they ship dry. As do the shocks.. they also suffer from stiction so you need to remove a seal from the lower shock cap, they wont leak with one seal. Mine didnt have a friction disc in the slipper clutch either. Sort that lot and then drive it.

I wonder how much the Mark up on this truck is those exact aluminum shocks are 20 bucks on eBay i actually just bought a set and they feel great after you bleed them correctly

get the Pro-Line 78 (I think that is the year) K10 Step Side 2 piece body. its one of my personal favorites and if you aren't a fan of the square body style you could always run the stepside bed on the C10 cab. I got the stepside bed mounted to my now discontinued Pro Line trail honcho 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Cab and absolutely love it!

Kevin, when to put loctite and when not to? So, you put it on a bumper, but not on the belly screws. Also, no oil on pinion gear? I am just curious and want to learn more. Tnx
