As a person that works with carbon fiber, i thonk this looks awful, ts the offcuts of the carbon fiber. It dosent make sence on a structiral view(fibers chopped and random direcctions make a weaker or heavier component) and may be because of that reason, stetically is horrible

what looks really bad is walking around pointing at things with a soda cup... just looks terrible, it's too much if you know what i mean. just pointing at everything with it, looks nasty, pointing at the hood, front bumper, even all over the interior as you can see, even at the center console, even at the rear wing, even at the engine bay. it's just too much.

Consider that forged carbon is essentially carbon chipboard, little captured diced up off cut bits compressed with a glue. Its cool when replacing actual complex forms that would otherwise need casting/machining from billet ie fabrics can't achieve. Its really cool stuff when its used in its intended ways.
