I feel like when the ATF finds out about how this can print critical firearms components they're gonna have a bird.

I've used this before. He's leaving out that you need a huge oven to post harden the prints, otherwise they're as soft and brittle as gypsum

Wow $150k is downright affordable for the capabilities.

$150, 000 can honestly not be that much to the right person. If you are running a business and constantly have expensive parts that break. It could be more cost effective to print them instead of buying them.

We had one of these back in Engineering university. Our teacher told us that the printed parts are not as hard as metal but rather it's a metal powder temporarily lasered together to form a part. You still need to put the part in a special oven that requires a lot of time and energy to get a real part. This machine is only useful for small production, you'll probably never recover your investment from buying one.

That wrench looks like it would break if used on anything that isn’t hand tightened lol.

Man we can print metal now, wow, I have a 3D printer and every time it’s running I’m just staring at it, like seeing the printer slowly create your design is amazing

This would be good for printing LEGAL ITEMS NOT REGULATED BY THE GOVERNMENT, boy would I like to print ITEMS THAT DON'T HAVE GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS.

You forgot to add the secondary sintering process that’s needed for the finished part…

150k is wrong - every Prusa or Bambulab can print BASF Metal Filament.
150k would be ok for a big SLS metal powder Printer with post processing unit and burning oven

I'd like to see parts off this thing properly stress tested in public. No options for camera cuts or other antics. Print a tool or a stressed part and them pull a produced name brand equivalent tool from an average store like Lowes and such to test against.

Mainstream media's gonna see this and be like "How YOUR CHILD is 3D printing ASSAULT WEAPONS"

Its just a normal dual filament 3d printer that's using metal and ceramic filament. Now the furnace looks good. but the 150k is terribly expensive for a filament 3d printer.

We have one. The complexity you can achieve is amazing.

In 30 years when you can pick one up for under 1k this will be life changing.

Imagine 3D printing a real ironman suit with that

The gas for sintering the parts is the most expensive cost of this machine $400 each time you process a print
