That "Ode to joy" in the end makes me cry everytime. Just knowing that when they first composed this is was such a groundbreaking thing, and knowing he couldnt hear the audience go crazy at this point in his life, and one of the misicians literally had to turn him around to see the reaction to his accimplishment, its just a beautiful part of history. Makes me emotional.

I found it. I found it. The background music that I've been hearing in so many movies but never knew the name. To me it felt like a part of my life is finally complete.

The conductor must feel so accomplished he’s been working his whole life towards this…. And now it shows. Just beautiful

beethoven grew deaf, and lost much of his will to live. he told his brothers that he would’ve killed himself, had it not been for his live of music to keep him going. he wrote this song during a deep state of depression, and deaf. he conducted it too, deaf. when the orchestra finished, beethoven was so passionately conducting, he didn’t even notice the song was over. somebody had to grab beethoven, turn him around to see the crowd cheering vigorously. i always found it utterly incredible that even in the darkest moments of life, a song so beautiful and eloquent rose from the deepest depths.

when you passed a test you didn't study
When your crush confesses she likes you too
And the best part it wasn't all a dream

Mum was right. Wish I had listened and gone to the Theater in 1824 instead of playing games all day.

Utterly brilliant, and there is no superfluity in Andris Nelsons' conducting.

The richest, most complex, most beautiful piece of music you've ever heard.

Just can’t get enough of this....
Sad it’s not the entire 18 or so minutes because I’d gladly watch and listen that eyes and ears wide open!

"Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!"
