Does the premix stucco in the yellow bucket dry up if u don’t use it all at once? Or can you use a little and have some on hand for later use?

It's tricky because you gotta be careful about thicknesses, or else it'll be a bump.
Hopefully, it looks good after the color goes on?

My dad improperly installed a doggy door into a stucco wall. After 10 years, there are now huge chunks of the wall being chipped off, exposing the chicken wire, styrofoam, the two studs the doggy door is drilled into, and a gaping hole leading to the wiring inside the walls. How do you fix this?
