Stucco damage on houses can be daunting but they're really not that hard to repair and with a little paint they're not that hard to protect.

Important tip : when you use the knife to apply stucco or joint compound go in a different direction than which you first applied. It will help apply the compound evenly.

i always thought you needed a hard sponge handled tool, and apply and push in circular motion to get the stucco texture.. it can’t be flat and smooth, the more inconsistent the better for the right look

Where can you buy the Quikcrete Stucco Mix in that 80 lb bag size? My local HOme Depot and Lowes doesn't carry it

Thank you so much. I Know I can do that. Do you have suggestions for beach weather homes. It takes a beating with rust, mold and stucco chipping. I think I will try that additive you suggested. Thanks again for your generosity.
