Is Navy JROTC Worth 4 Years? [My Opinion]

Every case is different; however, i'd like to share some of my experiences so maybe it can help anyone who is conflicted about taking this class one day!

I’m in a NJROTC and the advancement cycle in here it’s so intense. I’m only a freshmen E-2 (got cadet of the month) and for us it’s so hard to get a lot of medal like you like what the hell thats a lot I’m impress good job!!!

You can't become Battalion Commander in your second year, I'm in my fourth year and our CO is a senior as well.

Im 3 years in yes its worth it we go all over the US to compete with the Armed Drill 13 Clark High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps..every year is diffrent my ns1 year was just learing my ns2 year was mainly leadership training and hear i am my ns3 year PC/Armed Drill Team Commander C/LTG Moore next year my goal is to become XO or Athletics Officer

I was in Navy JROTC when I was in high school New Albany high School I was in 04 to 08 it was one of the best experiences I've experienced my life are structures was an f-18 pilot nearing the gulf war and the other structure was a Master gunnery Sergeant of the United States Marine corps the trips and experience JROTC rank was chief petty officer 3rd class my experience was I don't want semester at the PT team I've done my whole year of the rifle team done the last two years and the drill team

how does one get battalion commander as an ns2- my CO is a senior, im a senior and the operations officer (im an ns3) and most of our platoon commanders are seniors (one junior PC)- also my unit won orienteering nationals in 2019 and we still have the trophy, go Hillgrove Hawks
